Our chapter meeting site is
located in the beautiful rolling hills of
middle Tennessee, about 10 miles northeast of
Nashville, near Andrew Jackson's plantation,
the Hermitage.
The Daughters of the American
Revolution (DAR) is an organization dedicated
to promoting patriotism, preserving American
history, and securing America's future through
better education for our children. From small
towns to metropolitan areas, DAR members make
a difference in their communities. Spanning
three centuries of service, DAR's mission
remains vitally relevant, even in this
changing world.
General Daniel Smiths Rock
Castle Chapter NSDAR offers many opportunities
for service. We work with our youth through
educational programs; encourage our members to
be involved in their communities with historic
preservation, and promote the safekeeping of
our local histories. Membership provides the
opportunity to meet new people with similar
interests and to develop friendships with
those who enjoy promoting the ideals of
patriotism and love of country.
Join us
"As we
move forward in service to God, Home and
Country, we renew our commitment to
promote our founders' vision through
education, historic preservation and
patriotism."
