We'd
like to take this opportunity to welcome
you to the Bonny Kate Chapter DAR. Our
chapter was formed in 1893 and we are
located in the Appalachian District, in
the city of Knoxville, Knox County,
Tennessee. Our desire is that you will
find this website both informative as
well as entertaining.
Members
of the Daughters of the American
Revolution are documented descendants
from Patriots of the American
Revolution. We host several programs and
projects annually to honor our Patriot
ancestors by fostering historical
preservation, education, and patriotism
locally.
We work
together on activities that promote
American heritage, service for veterans,
preservation of genealogical records,
commemorative events, conservation,
scholarships for students, and other
activities sponsored by our chapter, the
Tennessee Society, and the National
Society DAR.
If you
know yourself to be a descendant of a
Patriot of the American Revolution, and
you wish to preserve his or her legacy, then
we encourage you to come and visit with
us at our next meeting. We discuss
several issues in our meetings,
genealogy, history, celebrating national
holidays, service for our veterans, and
education. We do not adhere to any
political agendas, nor do we endorse any
political party.

National Society DAR may be found at

Thanks
for visiting our site, and we look
forward to hearing from you soon!
