About Us

The Captain William Edmiston Chapter, NSDAR, is located in the Cumberland District in Clarksville, Tennessee. Our members can trace their lineage to men and women who fought in the American Revolutionary War or in some way aided the cause for American freedom. We have proudly served our community and supported historic preservation, education, and patriotism in the Clarksville area for over 100 years! Immediate Past Officers 2019-2022

Our First Honorary Regent has been an active leader in this chapter, taking part with the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) and the National Society of the Children of the American Revolution (N.S.C.A.R.) in the veterans day parade, the 4th of July reading of the Declaration of Independence.
