Welcome
We are the Daughters of the Captain William Edmiston Chapter National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR), and we are celebrating 110 years of service in historic preservation, education, and patriotism! We are located in Clarksville, Tennessee.
The object of this patriotic organization has remained unchanged. At each meeting, its members pledge themselves to perpetuate the memory of the spirit of the men and women who achieved American Independence, to promote the development of a tolerant public opinion for the purpose of the American Revolution, and to foster patriotic citizenship. Programs are planned around each year’s national theme with the three DAR objectives of historic preservation, education, and patriotism.

DAR Service Pillars
Historic Preservation

Throughout the history of DAR, historic preservation has always been one of the main focuses of the mission of the organization.
Education

The DAR is passionate about educating America’s youth and supports a variety of different programs, contests, and awards to help further this goal.
Patriotism

Patriotism is the foundation of the many DAR activities that take place in local communities across the country.
