1918 WWI Support

Old Glory supported the War Relief efforts of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution and reported “splendid patriotic services by its members.” Each member served in some capacity through the Red Cross – many by knitting garments. 1938 Old Glory Gavel

1942 WWII Support

In 1942, Old Glory reported that 100% of the chapter members were actively engaged in Red Cross work which included knitting, sewing, making surgical dressings, attending first aid classes, home nursing classes, and canteen service classes.
