The General William Lee Davidson Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR), is located in Davidson County, Nashville, Tennessee, in the Cumberland District of the Tennessee State Society DAR (TSDAR).
We look forward to meeting you and helping you to become a part of this great organization. Our members are from a variety of backgrounds and occupations with many different talents contributing to our volunteer efforts. Membership in the DAR honors your Patriot ancestor and preserves your Patriot’s legacy. As a member of DAR, you, too, can continue the legacy of those who dreamed of the country we all celebrate today.

Our Mission
We support a variety of projects to help preserve our cultural heritage. A major ongoing project is to preserve genealogical records, artifacts, and historical documents. Our projects include restoring and maintaining historical sites. Read More…
We are passionate about education. We have a history of establishing schools for the underserved in our country and continue to fund DAR schools, scholarships, and awards for outstanding students.
