Located on the lawn of the Blount County Court House, 327 Court Street, Maryville, Tennessee 37804-590.
The large monument, inscribed on both sides with the names of the known Blount County Revolutionary War veterans, was erected and dedicated in 1976 by the Mary Blount Chapter NSDAR. In November, 2016 the stone was moved to a new position of honor on the Courthouse lawn in a new War Dead Memorial Plaza.
